Cows are everywhere, so you might think that it would be easy to just go out in a field and record it laughing. However, cows are not very responsive, and it takes a lot to make one laugh, especially since they don't really have much to laugh about - eat grass, chew, crap and get slaughtered. However, they have a weird sense of humour, and this cow laughed when one of the researchers, fed up with waiting, sat down and scratched his nose. Why would that be funny to a cow? Any bovine psychologists out there? Click above to hear the only ever recorded cow laughing.
