Sometimes you come across people who talk so fast without stopping that it's really difficult to keep up with them and understand what they are saying and this behaviour usually carries over to their laughter in such a way that they fire off a really staccato machine gun laughter like takatakatak without stopping for a breath at any point in the delivery of the laughter to the extent that you feel that they will never stop to draw breath or that they will fall over writhing on the ground in total paroxysms and maybe fall into a state of unconsciousness or perhaps worse with obviously disastrous results that you don't even want to think about. At least that's what our researcher felt when he finally got this laugh from a hyperactive auctioneer on speed at a horse fair. Click on the picture above to listen.
